As, this is my first post, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.
Hi, despite what my information says. No I am not almost fifteen. The age and date of birth given there, would be that of my youngest brother, who died at the age of 7.
I Have two brothers, one of which is dead. Yes, I am one of two twins, My brother is a solder in the National Guard.
What I'm doing on this, and many other webpages, is a much more complicated thing. But with time, all will be reviled.
Now,enough with me and lets get on with the post.
Working as a photographer allows me to meet allot of the "average americans." One of these said people asked me, why I support my brothers decision to join the Army?
Now, having heard this question before I was about to say my usual. "Well, he's family and I want to support his decisions." When it hit me that this lady might really be interested, so I told her the truth.
I support the Army and My brother because as an american, i was raised on the believes that a life without freedom should be ignored, and if we could just get along with everyone, wars would stop, the helpless would get helped, the hungry would be fed and the scarred would be comforted. But i never thought. "Who is going to feed the hungry if not me? Who was going to help the helpless if not me? And so on, never that is until September Eleventh 2001. then I realized that I cant just stand back and let someone else do all the work, so together My brother and I signed up to the Guard. I was three weeks into basic when my knee shattered. and so it seemed that my only chance to support my country had been lost but My brother, he could keep working, so i convinced him to continue serving overseas as I helped in any way I can back here. soon after my knee healed I got the job as a photographer and started attending meetings to support our troops. And finally I decided to openly support our troops by wearing my National Guard jacket where ever I go. So, as My brother fights across the earth against terrorists and apprisers, I must fight against the "Average Americans" in a never ceasing battle, for freedom in a nation where, anyone can speak, but no one will listen.
Thank you for reading my rants. Please contact me with questions or comments, and don't forget to comment in the post! A good idea is worth nothing unless its shared.
